Sitting mats for a class

I have so many scraps that I decided to make scrappy leaf blankets for kids to sit on in my church class. I want to make for all the grandnieces too. So fun! Everybody will be getting these as a gift 😁

Versatility at it's finest

Although I used the "doll sized" XS blanket, I used the Tropical Leaf bundle to make different textured sensory-friendly leaves! They get quite the amount of love at the park, especially where the swings are metal and the temperatures reach well over 100 degrees. My son has a soft, cushioned toddler-sized seat to take with him whether he is swinging high or sliding low. They are also wonderful for "quiet" time. When overwhelmed, the sensation of different textures can help calm the nervous system. This pattern is an absolute win, with the limits being set by your imagination.
