These are warm! almost too warm for WV caving. I'd imagine they excel in alpine caves but I have never been. However they are perfect for a cave camp base layer in 50°-55°f caves. They pack down super small and dry out super quick. One of these suits and a windbreaker and you'll never get cold cave camping. The only thing I don't like is the zipper. Velcro would be way less likely to fail.
