I have ordered several blankets by this manufacturer and I haven't used this particular blanket yet, But it seems very much thinner than the others

Very Comfortable Blanket

So far it's a very nice blanket. I was shocked at the amount of fabric that was lost during the first wash/dry, and it's still shedding quite a bit of fibers.
