Pen arrived very quickly and well packaged. The twist mechanism to close is unique and feels very solid in construction. It wrote perfectly straight out of the box. Great pen, great service from Pensachi. Both are highly recommended.

PILOT Vanishing Point LS FP

Pilot vanishing point is always one of my favorite FP to carry everyday, and now with LS system, this pen goes with twisted mechanics rather to push down button. That is a cool way to close the FP. Of course, the pen is still smooth writing on the papers. You should try one and find out how wonder of this pen.

Different than Standard Vanishing Point

The LS VP is much heavier and more solid feeling than the standard VP. Brighter especially the jewel like ornamental multifaceted ring in the middle. Medium writes sublime. No idea how Pilot can make such a small nib write so well. Took a while to get used to the thumb knock retraction mechanism but I am growing to appreciate its silence and smoothness. It feels like a much higher quality pen than the standard VP. Basically I love VP’s and the LS may be my favorite pen of all that I own. The purple is beautiful. I love the mechanical nature of it. Unique and satisfying.
