Sherlock Aftershave Balm is the logical product to use after the shaving soap. The earthy scent is very similar to the scent of tobacco and leather. It’s not overpowering, but yet masculine. I have fair and sensitive skin, and have to be careful with products. This balm soothes any irritation from shaving and leaves my skin soft, but not greasy.

Truly Great

Sherlock is one of my “go to” scents for shave soap and aftershave. (In fact, Chisled Face is pretty much my go to brand.). I purchased the balm to round out the ensemble. Great stuff.

You asked for a review... well here it is; the balm works great performance wise... however, the scent could be MUCH better if you didn't add, " moist dirt ". All of your product labeling and packaging is very attractive but the ingredients you use are a huge turn off; gunpowder, moist dirt, etc, etc. If you would simply eliminate these horrible scents from your product you would really have nice attractive products. I have had multiple people ( including my wife and 3 daughters who are very good with scent descriptions ) say that these ingredients are very unattractive. I get tons of compliments on scents that I wear but not this one.
