1940s British Royal Air Force Greatcoat

Looked great, was an appreciated Christmas present for my brother

This coat is absolutely stunning! It is beautifully made of luxurious wool and has a gorgeous rich blue color. This is an heirloom piece to pass on to some lucky family member.

The coat is extremely high quality and very beautiful. However, it is made in China, and therefore the sizes correspond to that market. I'm British and I ordered a Small, which is my usual size. I was kindly emailed by the company and informed, after giving my measurements again, that a Medium would be much better. The coat arrived earlier than expected, and is, as I've said, well-made. However, the arms were too short and the general width too wide, very much proving my point that the sizes are matched to Asian physiques and not European. Rather than send the coat back(which I'm told by other customers is near impossible and will incur great expense), I've chosen to have a tailor extend the arms and narrow the sides, which is costing me and extra £110. So, to wrap up, a beautifully made, incorrectly measured and sized piece of clothing.
