I am a designer and general contractor and I absolutely love finding solutions. We were hopefully replacing tombstones in an older commercial high-rise… Construction manager for the building said we HAD to keep them whether they were a trip hazard or not as we could not create any space in the subfloor and it would cost us a ridiculous amount of money to bore them larger. Called a representative of the company, he walked me through exactly what I needed to know and the fact that it is what these were created to replace. We didn’t have to bore new holes or anything! These fit in the exact spot that those hideous tombstones were mounted in. Thank You!
