My son is very active and has been wearing thick cotton briefs, his whole life and finally got to a point where he realized something a little bit longer on the legs would be more comfortable, but I didn’t want to go with something too synthetic and since these are 57% cotton he loves them.

The material is perfect. I preferred the dark waist bands. The white will be too obvious with school pants.
