I just bought my second one; the first lasted nearly a year! The bamboo did crack a bit, but not enough to get in the way of functionality. I definitely recommend hanging it up to dry to increase longevity (I've got mine looped around a carabiner on my window curtain rod).

I need to replace my Dutch oven cleaning brush as the plastic was chipping off every time I used it, causing bristles to fall off. I bought both the hard and soft wood handled scrubbers and they are really nice to use. Easy to grip and I love that I can screw off the bottom part once I need to replace the bristles themselves.
