Baltic birch 5x5 24mm - Average to below average quality

Reviewing what is called Baltic Birch 5x5 24mm. I've never seen factory edges so off, concave by 3 or 4mm. Totally out of square, like a parallelogram. Looking at the edges, there's a noticeable top and bottom half. One half is darker than the other one and looks like cheaper wood. Router bits are gumming up more than I used to see. Very average quality for the price.

Highly Recommended 5 x 5 Baltic Birch

KJP has by far the best Baltic Birch in Eastern Ontario, and we highly recommend anyone who has a laser to buy from them. We have been cutting baltic birch on our lasers for years , and we were always under the impression that the lasers had a problem until we bought our wood from KJP. What a difference , we will never buy from anyone but KJP again. Great wood, great service, and great over the phone customer service.
