Great Layering - Warm but Lightweight

I purchased a larger size in granite green last winter (XXL). Loved it! It works great either as a light jacket or mid layer depending on how cold and how long I was outside. I lost weight so needed a tighter fitted version (black) as I'm going to take it on a cruise that leaves the USA in Feb. goes down under into summer but ends in Alaska in May (could be cold still). I really appreciate 400 gram expedition weight and wish they offered their Henley in this heavier weight too. Personally, I wear it under a much heavy sweater as a mid layer under a down jacket when going outside in true cold for any extended time. I got mine with the full zipper so it could also be a "grab and go" if not too cold outside and/or running errands under a puffer but able to vent if it really warms up.

I'm 6'2" and 300lbs the 3x is not for fellas anywhere close to this. The jacket is very well made and I have absolutely no complaints against craftsmanship but this runs extremely small. I'm a 3x shirt in everything I buy and this stretches chest to gut just to zip it up

The quality is superb. The merino wool is thick and smooth and warm. It has a taylored look and can be dressed up or down. The price is fair for something so well made.
