I've previously used mesh for antifog glasses in the past and it has worked but it's not the best for chipping powdery long dead snags, not only do these provide more coverage but I can wear a mask with them not fogging up and they've worked in both cold, snowy, dark, and wet conditions with no fog nor glare from light poles during snow removal, they're comfortable, don't dip off my nose, stay in place, no headache even with balaclava or a buff on under a helmet, don't pull at long hair. Just solid as all get out.
