the Rhodia pads are very nice. They are a bit “thirstier” with ink from fountain pens than the Clairegontaine Pupitre pads which I prefer.
They are, however an excellent “second choice” to the Clairefontaine pads that you used to carry. The “thirsty” nature of the Rhodia pads is very minor and I expect due more to a different surface finish than the quality of the paper, which is very good.
IF there is a better “Second choice” I have yet to find it.
