Universal Shoulder Immobiliser

I have been using this for 5 weeks (with the exception of washing and a short wait drying period while I use the hospital provided immobiliser - less than 2 hrs’ wait). Another 2 weeks minimum to go, probably a fair bit longer. So much more comfortable and supportive than the arm sling immobiliser provided by healthcare. While I’m so grateful for the hospital support, staff and care, they’re not able to provide an option like this - they just don’t have the resources. My orthopaedic surgeon hadn’t seen this and commented on the quality and asked where I’d sourced it. As a short, short trial, I tried a half day back in the hospital supplied sling yesterday … I was sore. Swapped back and within a short period I felt more comfortable. It’s great. I can adjust it according to what I’m doing and feel really confident in the support it provides for shoulder stability. I have compound fractures of the humerus (upper arm bone) plus dislocated shoulder. This has been my lifeline. I’m to adjust and readjust according to needs and have supported sleep. I cannot recommend this more highly.

Perfect for my 11 year old’s broken arm

I was worried the sling was too big but its perfect for him. Having a strap over each shoulder really made wearing his cast for 6 weeks tolerable.

Good quality and very comfortable to use as opposed to a normal sling. Mum has Lymphedema and a broken bone in the left arm. A normal sling was pulling on her neck and also strangling her and she was very uncomfortable. This offers much better support and comfort at a very reasonable price.
