The artsy Phoenix overlay makes it impossible to feel the finger holes. And mine arrived with small shards of ceramic rattling around in it; one hole was more than 50% obscured with this detritus before I discovered it.

Clear sound

This contrasts with the Sumi I'm already using. The Sumi has a delicate yet precise sound compared to the Phonix, while the Phonix has a clearer sound but lacks the precision of the Sumi. Also, the surface is uneven, making it difficult to press the holes accurately. However, I expect that with more practice, I'll be able to produce good sounds.
