It's a little disappointing the directions don't include finishing details for the trim around the edges? Is it ok to cut the canvas into a circle? Or is it required to fold over the edges and sew them down before adding the trim? Also, upon opening your website, a 15% discount is advertised for 1st time orders. I asked about that and was told that is not available to me. Thank you
