Over engineered and needlessly complex
The spacers provided for the main subframe mounts are too complicated. Why not just use an anodized or stainless spacer like the rear ones? The hollow block-style steal spacers are going to collect debris and corrode, not to mention the bolt hiles aren't big enough and required filing to enlarge them. That ate through the powder coating and will further contribute to corrosion. I should never have to modify a kit like this to make it work. Using a simpler spacer would reduce production cost, provide a higher quality product for customers, and would make installation considerably easier. Picture attached to illustrate the difference. The instructions are not good. There are tons of misspellings, and obvious errors. Additionally, the references to the hardware packages are not accurate. They need to be proofread and corrected. That said, the kit seems to fit well. The strut/shock spacers seem to be well made and don't seem to cause any obvious alignment issues. We'll see after it goes to the shop. The car drives fine for now. The engineering could've been a lot simpler for the multi-link drop kit. I would pay a little more for a kit that's designed better. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any kits on the market that don't use those style spacers. The only way around it is a full coilover setup for thousands more.
