I’ve recently switched to St. James of London after 15 years of using The Art of Shaving (P&G) and Zirh prior to that. I discovered this collection at a Aidan Gill’s barbershop in New Orleans, and after my first few shaves, I could find the investment and focus in quality of a classic skin care line without being too gimmicky or “bro” marketing. As long as your blades are fresh, I find it provides a very enjoyable daily shaving experience. As P&G disinvests in The Art of Shaving (which i’ve experienced first hand), St. James of London is a far superior substitute with an efficient online experience to support it.
