Replacement Review for Back to School Skirt

I found the waistband instructions very awkward to do. The pattern says to use a 4" piece of elastic for Ruby Red dolls. This is an error which makes the waist too large. The correct size of elastic is 3". Please replace my previous review.

The instructions for putting on the waistband were unnecessarily complex. Then waist was much too large, I ended up putting a seam up the back and fastening the waistband with Velcro.

Back to School skirt for 14.5 in dolls

I really love this pattern…it is a quick sew and so cute. I’ve done it in both 18” and 14.5” and they both turned out great. Actually this is only my second piece I’ve done for the 14.5 “ doll so it was a good experience.
