Pretty Good Yunnan Gold
This tea is a pretty good yunnan-gold-style tea. It's a bit lighter in colour compared to other Yunnan Black teas I've tried, while the 'spruce' and 'leather' notes remind me a bit of the sweet potato character of "Yunnan Golden Monkey" tea. I did find it a bit on the bitter side, similar to an english style tea. I prefer the "Yunnan Golden Special" which is similar but a little less bitter.
If you appreciate strong teas like assam but want to try a yunnan tea this would be a good introduction.
