I've been running 7ka rims since the mid 2000s when the 48 hole variety was vogue; I was almost sure that the 36 hole set-up would be considerably weaker, but I was exaggerating the issue; it's still strong. I choose Powers Bike Shop over the competitors, now only for single item purchases but especially for wheel-builds for 1) the speed of the build, 2) the quality, and 3) the speed of shipping; while other bike shops are taking a month to build a few wheels, Powers is doing it in well under a week. I appreciate this. Don't hestitate to get some 7kas from Powers. They rock!
