ZOHD PNP Dart 250G FPV Plane

Great plane even without a gyro

3s LiHV 1100mAh 60c, RadioMaster ER4, and VC400 AIO camera. No gyro, gps, or flight controller. Coming from 10+ years flying all sorts of RC planes and almost a year flying whoops. The Dart250 is my first taste of both FPV and fixed wing. Built mine up to be as simple and light as possible (~210g) and it definitely doesn’t disappoint in the hands of an experienced pilot. Very stable even in some decent winds if the CG is spot on and pretty darn quick on 3s. Being an elevon wing by nature, the plane is touchy especially at higher speeds, but it is quite maneuverable and flies well without a gyro or any stabilization. Very easy to hand launch with full throttle, a firm toss, and a 25% up elevator mix. The included motor, ESC and servos all pair well with the other electronics I put in to complete the plane. No modifications were made when assembling and setting up the plane other than using some CA along with the included 3M tape on the wings and vertical stabs for extra strength and longevity and some balsa wood to help position the AIO cam in the nose. Overall, the Dart250 is a great proximity plane that also has the speed and stability even without a gyro to cover some good distances.
