Mixed emotions

I was disappointed with my experience. I ordered two pairs of non-prescription polarized solid tint lenses for a total of $306, expecting them to be significantly darker than what I received. When the glasses arrived, the tint was much lighter and more transparent than I expected. I contacted Dr. Lens Change and was initially told this was the standard polarized tint and that polarized lenses could not be made darker. Later, I was told there may have been an issue with a defective batch from the manufacturer and that replacement lenses could potentially be darker. The resolution process became confusing, with different explanations and discussions about shipping and handling fees if the lenses were returned and no defect was found. In the end, I accepted a $50 partial refund and kept the glasses rather than going through another lengthy return and replacement process. Customer service did communicate with me and made an effort to offer options, which is why I am not giving one star. However, for the price paid, I expected the lenses to better match the description and the resolution process to be much more straightforward.

Was really pleased with the speed, ease of shipping and results of the replaced lenses on my sunglasses. Would highly recommend this service to anyone needing work done on their glasses.
