Shine Vert Juicer: juicing screen

I have had my Shine vert juicer for....ummm...about 3 years. I was juicing carrots the other day when I heard a loud snap. The juicer kept working (surprise). When I took it apart for cleaning I noted that the large band around the juicing screen had snapped. Yet, as I mentioned, it kept juicing. So, I ordered another one. In the mean time, I still used it and it functioned fairly well (no further cracking, it just didn't produce as much juice). Tribest got me the new screen remarkably fast and now I am back to juicing!

Great little basket for a great little slow juicer.

I cracked my orginal basket by putting too large of a carrot in it. When I heard a loud crack I thought it was the carrot being crunched. A few days later I found it really hard to clean the basket and then discovered food was caught in a couple of cracks. So I was still able to use it even though the frame of the basket had cracked, but knew I should get a new part for it ASAP. I order a new basket, a second one to have a back-up, and a third one for my sister's juicer as well. The shipment arrived within the week and I am very satisfied that it is the same as the original basket. I learned my lesson to chop the beets and split the carrots. Enjoying my juicer everyday.
