I was very impressed with this course. There were 5 students so the student-instructor ratio was perfect. The instructor George Gronseth was awesome, extremely knowledgeable and very patient. Excellent review and practice of the paddle techniques that every kayaker needs to know, especially braces. Good practice of rescue techniques and discussion about rescue equipment. George was especially helpful in introducing us to rolling. I highly recommend this course.

OUTSTANDING CLASS. FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS

I attended the Sea Kayaking 111 class this past weekend. I got so much more out this class than I expected. Excellent training. My goal was reached to be comfortable with wet exits, self and assisted rescue process; and learn the basics of a roll (the basics not a bombproof roll). I was really surprised and happy with the paddle strokes I learned; when they apply and how that knowledge and skill measurably improves my paddling efficiency. Next steps.... attend another and perhaps buy a new boat :-) George, Art and the entire staff are just great!

excellent course!

We learned so much in this 2 day course.....no time was wasted, as this is an intense 2 days. The classroom environment was very safe so even novice paddlers can learn without fear. Highly recomend this course to anyone! Sea Kayaking 111 very much exceeded my expectations!
