The Ganglion Board is a scientifically-validated, 4-channel bio-amplifier.
Important Notes
Electrodes must be purchased separately. The Ganglion Board is compatible with the OpenBCI EEG Headband Kit, Gold Cup Electrodes, EMG/ECG Snap Electrode Cables, and Header pin to touch proof electrode adapter.
I found that the dry comb polymer electrodes didn’t really make a good connection on their own, but applying a little bit of water improved the impedance drastically. As a complete beginner who bought the board as part of the EMG experiment kit at a discount, I think it is a superb introduction to the biosensing world. One issue I never figured out: I see a noise artifact that occurs around every second on the clock. I’m convinced this is some external clock signal being picked up, not an issue with the board itself. One person online apparently remedied a similar problem by turning off the WiFi-controlled devices nearby, but it didn’t help in my case.

The device disconnects from Bluetooth easily (at 2-3 meters). The GUI freezes from time to time. The rest seems ok for now. I am still working on testing the whole thing
