Great fly tying vise for those longer hikes. Weighs just around 300 grams and packs small. Good supplement for my renzetti vise for my fishing trips deeper into the woods or mountains as I like to tie flies by the river.

Well made and serviceable vice , but unfortunately I have not been able to secure a hook with the cam handle in any position except straight in line with the jaws and since the cam handle is also the rotary handle the rotary feature is nullified completely . Perhaps some more twiddling with the adjustments will fix this ..we’ll see.

I just like these!, I had taken a gamble of getting the first one for my wife as a Christmas Gift, Hell I had to have one of my own! And you can also sorta pack its zipper bag with scissors , bobbins , thread and hooks, and it will meet “Carry-on” ,TSA requirements Damn nice vise!
