Unclear to me whether this makes a difference

The first couple times I put drops in my cat’s fur, he became MUCH more active in the several minutes afterward, perhaps because he didn’t like the physical sensation. Then I put it in his water instead, and did not see any changes afterward. I will keep trying it but can’t see any impact as of now.
