I was concerned about assembly after reading reviews, but between the instruction booklet and the YouTube video, it was really quite easy. I did not give it 5 stars as the weaving info is not nearly as good as the weaving info I received with my Kromski and two Ashfords. I’m going to check yes but do so before using, as I await tapestry books.

Arras loom

After much anticipation, I managed to order the Arras loom just as the world was shutting down. Paradise kept me informed and I received my loom about nine weeks later. In the interim I watched Schacht instructional videos on assembly, warping and weaving. Assembly was easy - I had my loom together in about an hour. I have yet to warp and weave, as I am collecting a few supplies for the first project. The loom is beautiful and the design elegantly simple and functional. Like all Schacht products, the design, coupled with online instruction, make learning a new art accessible. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate Paradise Fibers’ exceptional customer service and Schacht’s great products and educational resources. If you are considering this loom, take the plunge.
