I recently purchased this Cordoba Friederich from Xguitars after speaking with Geoff, who helped me decide among 3 high-quality contenders. The instrument is all I hoped it would be, tonally beautiful, well-balanced across highs and lows, and easy to play. The shipping took only 3 days from North Carolina to Kansas, and Geoff thoughtfully pointed out that by delaying the shipment till Monday I could avoid even the small chance of any damage to the guitar that might occur at a UPS warehouse over the weekend. Also, I appreciate the note he included in the shipping box that cautioned me to allow several hours for the guitar to warm from sub-freezing winter to room temperature before playing it to avoid possible damage. I’m completely satisfied with my transaction with Geoff and will look to him and Xguitars for my next classical guitar purchase.

This guitar is a fine example of a concert guitar in the mold of the French builders who's sound is clearer than the Spanish builders at a fraction of the cost than if you bought a Robert Bouchet, Daniel Friederich or Daniel Lesueur guitar. XGuitars as a company and it's service are excellent!! The definition of excellent is something done as well as can be done. They are a totally responsive seller!

I bought this guitar several months ago. I was a little nervous about it, as I did not have a chance to play it first. It, given the past year, I figured this was par for the course. Frankly, I couldn’t be happier with this guitar! The sound is gorgeous with very loud basses and beautiful trebles. Dynamic variations come through spectacularly, and the guitar has a nice volume.
