Melamine Lastra White Shallow Bowl

I do love the melamine lastra and have complete set of dishes and many other pieces. The shallow bowl, while beautiful, is not shallow in my estimation. Too large to be practical for many things. I use it too hold bunches of bananas on my counter. So I was a bit disappointed. Felt the term shallow was misleading.
