Perfect blue/black for me

This is a great color. Just the right amount of shimmer. It starts out as a very nice dark blue and then the shimmer hits it and it turns dark with coppery sheens.

Great Ink I am loving this ink. When first used, it can almost appear to be black. It’s only after drying, that the blue, along with a deep red sheen can be observed. Surprised that it shows the sheening even with ‘fine’ nibs. Diamine scored with this formula.

A well-behaved, massively sheening dark blue

I'm always on the lookout for a distinctive dark blue ink, especially for professional use. Midnight Hour caught my eye, and is does not disappoint. It is a lovely dark blue or blue-black and is a massive red sheener, even on plain paper. (A heavy swab on Mnemosyne paper looks shiny red instead of blue-black!) Despite the saturation, flow seems to be fairly wet, dry times are reasonable, and the ink does not dry extremely smudgy. Overall, a very nice ink I can use regularly while sporting some subtle pop. It's too dark for shading, but oh, the sheen!
