Dr Martin's Bleed Proof White

It works as stated...it doesn't bleed. This is great for painting snow capped mountains ...but not so good for painting flower petals where you want a gradational change from ink to water in a single stroke.

Bleed proof white is indespensible for working with whites on colored xuan. It is such an important part of the palate of whites to give definition and highlights to paintings on paper or on silk. I have recently learned how to revive my old jars that might have dried up. So, while you should always replace the lid after using it, it is not a catastrophe if you forget.
