A friend recommended this for me. I do not own nor have I smelled the original. I would never think to recommend this to the younger generation. I will say I have never gotten the number of complaints from any fragrance as I did with this one. And oddly it was from the younger generation. I wear fragrances for myself and only for myself. Basically what suits my mood. But I love the leather in this one. I’m also a sucker for spice and incense. I will be repurchasing.
