PARTS: Umbra Tall - Adjustable Arm Assembly

Great upgrade

I’ve been using a regular size umbra for a little over 10 years. Lately I found that I needed to adjust my playing posture and decided to try the tall adjustable arm. It was a perfect solution. Easy to install and great quality.

Making My Umbra Even More Useful

After using my Standard model Umbra for nearly a year, I felt as if I needed to move my guitar a little more to my right. I had recently seen photos of Bill Kanengiser's modifications to his Sagework Support to shift his guitar much further right. After an email consultation with Geoff, where he recommended trying Tall Adjustable Arm Assembly, I followed his advise. By having just a little more extension, I have been able to move the guitar more to my center without it becoming too vertical for my playing position. It really adds to the flexibility of my Umbra! I currently use it on two different guitars, one is a full sized 640mm Turrentine Elegy and the other is a slightly smaller 630mm Turrentine Elegy. It works equally well on both! Thanks, Geoff!

The Sage Guitar support is great!

I tried thigh pad which didn’t give me the secure elevated position I was looking for. So I tried a foot stool, which was an improvement, but still not the secure position I felt comfortable with. The the Sage Guitar support with the tall arm assembly gives me the secure elevated position I was looking for. Look out Andres’ Segovia, here I come😁
