Beautiful cat

I loved doing this painting. The colours were beautiful. I left the black and very dark blue until the end and you could cover up any tiny mistakes you made. I did need to order a second pot of black paint to complete this project. My favourite one so far.

Vibrant Cat

If you're into detail then Vibrant Cat is a good choice. Whilst I enjoyed working on this piece, I was frustrated by the illegibilty of the accompanying number sheet as I had to give a second coat to some of the colours. The "flouro" colours in particular were quite translucent. I worked it out in the end but a larger, darker, number map would have been great. I also used my own supply of black as the pot ran out and the quickest fix was use my own and redo those areas already painted. All blacks are not created equal.I also had my own detail brushes without which I would have struggled to maintain the shapes. I am happy with the result but Im not rushing into another.

Vibrant Cat Kit

I chose this to paint as a gift to a young toddler niece but as I worked on it some friends said it was bit scary looking. I think we need one that is very much designed for a young child. Also there are many similar colours too use and many fiddly bits. I didn’t enjoy doing this one as much as I did one I ordered from a different company because the other one was easier and you made more progress.
