Awesome, I wish I had started with a Leitner Bed Rack

I like that the mounting points can pivot a bit, so that leaves room for a little margin of error but it also adds flexibility if you need it. Maxtrax mounts can be tricky, these take a lot of the guessing and measuring out of it. I do wish they came with rubber washers to help seal the holes a bit more but I’ve got a rtt over mine and haven’t had any issues with leaks so far. It hurts you know, drilling holes into a new $700 box. Additionally, consider the weight of the traction boards when you’re adding to the weight capacity of the gear pod xl. It would also be nice if they came with dividers, so I wouldn’t necessarily have to buy the bags. I’ll be using this as my cooking/dry food storage for now. PS, the instructions (like with all your products I’ve bought) are awesome please continue printing them for those of us with poor connectivity.

Maxtrax Mounting Bracket

Very easy to install. The horizontal orientation of the pins make it very easy to remove & store the Maxtrax. The brackets also freed up space in my truck bed. I’ve gone off-roading twice since installing the brackets & they’ve held up great with 4 boards mounted.

I was a little worried about drilling into my box but it was an easy install with clear directions. Worked great !
