The mug is built really solid, the lid is snappy and made of a thick plastic, definitely won't break from a few accidental drops of anything. It'll keep ice cold for more than long enough too if you need. I've fell asleep before and after 8 hours the ice was still pretty much the same. Good product and a great military discount!
