MFJ-1778, G5RV, WIRE ANTENNA

People talk bad about G5RV antenna because they don’t know how to set it up and use it. This product is excellent. I get best reseption between att 3 of my antennas. You have to avoid 17, 12,10,60 meters bands, otherwise it works on all other bands like a champ with a tuner. I talked across country with 100w in bad band conditions. My ft8 covers the globe now, i can hear signals that I couldn’t hear or they were too weak to respond to. I work stations with -24 signal report with ease. My report back is usually 10db higher then received, mind you i never go above 35W on FT8. 73
