Smoked Salt — Applewood (Flakes)

Spices look and smell great, nice packaging. Maybe it's me, but it wasn't clear how small the spice amounts were… So it feels a little pricey for the quantity, even compared to other high-end spice companies.

Gneiss Spice does it again, with a wonderfully balanced applewood smoked salt that is also organic, arrives in a compostable bag and is a great addition to everything from braised tofu to sauteéd veggies to omelettes. I became a Gneiss customer for the great and eye-pleasing spice jars, but I will remain for the wonderful selection of organic spices and spice blends, which are an even greater boon to my kitchen than the spice jars!

Love all the smoked salts! This salt and the other smoked salts make it easy for me to still enjoy flavorful meals without garlic, onion, and other spices that upset my stomach. I also love that Gneiss Spice is environmentally conscious and offers organic products. Thank you!!
