34mm Black General Purpose Quartz with Date (GPQ-D)

Watch does run a little small but had to get use to it. Looks very nice and is very light weight. Usually swap to this watch at night. 36-38 mm would be perfect for this watch and i feel like a lot of people would make those purchases and keep the watch. This watch is a nice addition to my watch collection.

The Marathon GPQ w/Date is one of the toughest looking and high performing MIL-SPEC field watches out there. The use of Tritium as luminescence holds a tactical advantage compared to other forms of luminescence that require to be charged with light. The fact that this watch shares the same movement as the Tissot PRX Quartz is a great indicator as to the quality of the movement and guarantee of high performance. The date window is really useful as well. My only issues with the watch is the small 34mm size. While it is impressive that such a small watch can hold so much technology, it takes away from the rest of the package. I only wish it was slightly larger.

Amazing durability. I’ve slammed it multiple times against pavement in my job and still going.
