Sense of the Authentic

Using pieces made of ox bone certainly has a literal feel of the past, using materials that the Vikings might have had access to. The string along the outside of the board seems to be very sturdy and should last a good while. The board is also high quality in materials and the design again enhance has the fun of this very delightful game.

Beautiful Set, But…..

I received the travel set and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I’d highly recommend it to anyone. My one and only complaint is that the leather mat has some black marks where there should be none. This seems to be from wet ink or whatever they use to draw the playing grid. It probably wasn’t dry when they folded the leather mat for shipping.
