This is the second order I’ve placed for my kids’ memories. I love that the book is flexible in how/ when its filled out and gives open ended prompts for milestones. I have recommended the Kept book to several expecting friends.

Granddaughter Gift

Our very first granddaughter arrived on July 5, and the beautiful Kept journal was our first gift to her. I’m a huge proponent of journaling so the Kept concept is one I wish I’d thought of myself! Unlike conventional “baby books,” space is provided for more in-depth memories and narrative. The book itself is beautifully bound and reasonably priced. Kudos to its inventor!

The baby book for the mom who had a complicated pregnancy, birth story, or NICU stay

I bought this book because it was advertised as something you could start if you didn’t start one from the beginning. I didn’t start one from the beginning, thinking I could capture everything in photos on my phone. I also didn’t start a baby book from the beginning because most baby books focus on pregnancy milestones and newborn statistics. That didn’t work for my complicated pregnancy, pre-term birth, and NICU story. Those aren’t the details I want to focus on or remember, because it’s not who my child is. But I saw this book and finally felt seen. I love that this book dedicates space and time for all the growing up that happens and captures big and small moments that make your child who they are. I love that this book places more emphasis on your child’s personality and things they did or said rather than the numbers. The paper quality is very nice and the binding linen cover is beautiful. The book also opens almost flat which is so helpful for my left-handedness. My only wish is that it gave a bit more room to add pictures, but still entirely worth the purchase.
