Great portion size for a family of four

I decided to buy one to sample on a hiking trip , and it's a little bit much for one person. It stated fresh and tasty after several days in 85° temps. I'll be buying more for my home emergency supply kit. I've always had great experiences with this company.

There's Just Something Amiss With the Taste

The directions were spot on for preparation of this meal. After trying it, I couldn't put my finger on it but the taste just wasn't right. I thought it was barely edible. I shall finish the pouch but won't be ordering this one again.

Not bad ...

The rice is somewhat underseasoned, although that is easily fixed with a spoonful of chicken bullion concentrate. A major improvement for this product (and all the seasoned rice blends) would be to package the flavoring separately in easily to divide portions. Because right now, trying to prepare less than the full eight servings is a job of work.
