Wonderful recording. Great sound and a nice alternative to the Chesky recordings. You would not say that it’s a recording from the sixties.

Another great interpretation of beethoven.

Very nice recording as always.And even so I love Karajan's version from the sixties, this is also a very good interpretation and a nice add to my collection of beethoven's symphonies.

Alte Aufnahmen in wunderbarem neuen Klanggewand

Mich hat diese Aufnahme von Beethoven´s Vierter und Siebter ein Leben lang begleitet. Ich fand die Aufnahmen als sehr gelungen, habe mich aber an der technischen Qualität stets gestört. Jetzt in neuer technischer Überarbeitung (besonders die Vierte) entsteht ein völlig neuer Eindruck. Sehr empfehlenswert.
