I bought these as a option from the Crispi’s I usually run during caribou and moose season here in Alaska. These boots punched above their weight class and the ankle stability is the best I’ve experienced in any boot. Hanwag will definitely become a anchor point in my hunting load-out from now on.

Highly recommend the wide version if you’re on the fence if your feet are narrow or not. As well maker sure to get a size larger in boot size. Stiff enough for mountainous terrain. Comfortable and no tight spots. Waterproofing works well even past the tongue with correct lacing and tightness. I’m very impressed with these boots compared to the price point.

The Hanwag Alverstone II boots are the best all around mountain boots on the market. The GOHUNT shop in Vegas is a must do if you’re in the market for boots.
