RODE NTG5 RF-Bias Shotgun Microphone with PG2-R Pistol Grip

Amazing value.

I'm not an audio expert or purist. But to my ears the sound of this mic is clear and articulated. It isn't what I'd call smooth compared to, say, a Neumann U87 or full of bass-heavy warmth like a broadcast mic - seems relatively balanced. However, the build, the inclusion of a good range of accessories, and it's sensitivity and low self-noise make it a very very good value in my opinion. Very pleased with the purchase.
