Sailor Shikiori Kin-mokusei - 20ml Bottled Ink

I like this ink!

I'm not a fan if Sailor inks, most are too pale to suit me. A penpal gifted me a sample, and I switched it, and liked it well enough to buy a bottle of my own!

I was looking for different colors of ink that were different from the bland colors I had. But by inexpensively exploring different kinds of ink, I found not only the right color, but properties of ink (quick dry) that are far better than anything I had before. Thank you!!

Don't expect ink to be what is shown online

I have learned that bottled ink, especially expensive small bottles of "premium" ink should not be bought unless they have been tried on paper first. This Sailor ink was overpriced, sold in 20 ml bottles and only vaguely resembled the color pictured online. I would never have bought it if I had seen it written with first. I recommend not wasting money on this product unless it has been seen in actual written sample. This means I will never buy such ink again. A tried ink especially for a premium pen is essential. A cheap ink for a cheap pen is a much better idea than an expensive unknown ink for an expensive pen. Sadly I have no local stationer where one might see the ink (if allowed) in realistic use.
