Hair Mineral Analysis ONLY (No Consult or Protocol)

Test was ok, more spam than i expected

I was pleased that the hair test was reasonably quick and the results looked thorough (first time I did this type of test, so no comparison). I'm fortunate that I don't have a significant issue beyond some elevated murcury levels from eating fish. I didn't expect so many sales pitch emails for consultation, detox products, etc. This is too much. Next time I'll probably just get a detox test at a local test service instead.

The HMAT was relatively easy to do as far as how to provide a hair sample. My only complaint is that they should have mentioned in the initial instructions that soft water systems would affect your test results. I found this, instead, in the FAQ section after I was literally putting the address and stamp on the envelope to send my hair sample in. Needless to say, I had to go buy spring water, wash my hair twice using it to rinse with, and cut a hair sample a second time. I was not very happy about that, and it could have been prevented had that info been provided in the test instructions because a lot of people do not even read the FAQ section, including me.

I was satisfied with the HTMA report,even though we didn't order the consultation with it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there was little to no communication with the customer(me) asto when the kit would be received ( I later found out that there was no kit, that we were to get paperwork for the labwork online and gather/mail in the sample) also, no communication as to when to expect the results. this was in the middle of the Christmas holidays, so I expected a delay, but there was no indication of how long I should wait before requesting a status. But the HTMA results were as I expected as far as what was tested and the format for the results.
