Disappointing Service

Ordered a pair of black lilas in the sale. They sent me a grey pair instead. When contacting customer service they said they couldn't replace them as they had no stock left and would offer a refund on sending them back. I believe probably the no stock was the reason I was sent the other colour in the first place. What a hassle. Previously a happy repeat customer but this has put me off a bit. Also find it hard to believe they have no stock left of this particular popular item. I'm wondering whether they have listed the wrong colour on sale. Disappointing all round.
